FORENSICS- EXILE EP
Swimming in organic sounds with a futuristic ambiance, the 'Phaeleh Remix' swirls together sweeping pads, tiny bells, and lively drums into a galaxy of pleasure".
Staying true to it's name, Forensics' Exile EP transports you to a whole new realm, leaving expectations behind. Each track illustrates an individual consciousness - yet all successfully migrate together by preserving the aura of the 'Original Mix'. Introduced by softly pouring bass and minimal drums, the 'Original Mix' invites you to sit back, clear your mind, and let go. As the familiar drums pick up again, you are drifted into the 'Vocal Mix' by the angelic voice of Indi Kaur. When paired with Kaur's vocals, the continuous gentle stride of the bass kick mimics a slow and steady heartbeat - bringing rich life and blood-flow to the track. Swimming in organic sounds with a futuristic ambiance, the 'Phaeleh Remix' swirls together sweeping pads, tiny bells, and lively drums into a galaxy of pleasure. Finally, as you prepare for the last track to lullaby you into another tranquil land, the vivacious kicks and snares of the 'Not In My Name Remix' eject you from your dream cloud and kidnap you for a stimulating ending that further validates the title of this EP. The deep, buzzy bass lines and swift rhythm of the closing remix on this EP just might ignite your hunger for several revisits of the entire Exile collection.
Forensics' Exile EP reveals an abundant exploration of sound, while staying dedicated to his minimal style with just a sprinkle of carefully selected producers and a single vocalist. This EP is a perfect example of satisfyingly full-bodied minimalism.
